“Colgrain” is a beautifully appointed detached home suitable for 8/9 people – we fell in love with it the moment we walked in. It stands in half an acre of grounds with uninterrupted views down to Loch Greshornish. The house has a really light and spacious lounge with TV (far better than ours at home!) and DVD player. There is also a lovely dining room which has patio doors leading to a large decked area with garden furniture. A family room provides additional accommodation with a bespoke sofa bed which converts into an exceptionally comfortable double bed. Trust us – the bed is really comfortable – we have slept on plenty that aren’t so we know how important this is. The kitchen is fabulously well equipped and there is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble drier. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, a king size bedded room with en-suite bathroom, one room with either a super king sized bed or two single beds and a further bedroom with bunk/twin beds. There is also a high quality “pull out” bed suitable for a young person up to mid teens. In addition there is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
